-1/2 cup of almond flour

-1 cup of cassava flour

-2 tbsp of salt

-3 cups of oil to fry the okra in (we used vegetable oil)

STEPS

  1. Let your okra thaw if you are not using fresh okra. If you are using fresh okra, then rinse your okra after cutting so the batter will stick.

  2. Pour the almond flour, cassava flour, and salt into a large bowl and combine all the ingredients.

  3. Once combined, add in the okra until all the okra is covered in batter.

  4. Pour your oil into a pot and let it heat up.

  5. Once it is almost bubbling, add in the okra to fry it. It is best to add the okra in batches, rather than all together.

  6. The okra can be taken out once the outside like browned and crispy.

  7. Cook each batch and let cool.

  8. Enjoy!

Fun fact about okra, it is technically a fruit because it contains seeds and develops from the ovary of the flower.
